The Site

The site is located on land to the south of the A5 / Watling Street and wraps around the eastern and southern edge of the existing employment development at Indurent Park Tamworth. This is in a highly strategic location, offering easy access to the M42 and A5 – connecting the site to the wider Midlands region and Strategic Road Network. Access will be provided through the existing employment park.

Red-line boundary of the site

The expansion land at Indurent Park Tamworth is the only strategic employment allocation in North Warwickshire District Council’s emerging ‘Employment Development Plan Document’ not located within the Green Belt or Strategic Green Gap, making it a key site to meet local and regional employment needs while respecting its location.

Planning Context

The site is a proposed draft allocation in North Warwickshire Borough Council’s emerging Employment Development Plan Document, supporting the Council’s need to accommodate sustainable economic growth and meet employment land demand from a variety of businesses.

The proposals would also build on the success of the existing Indurent Park Tamworth, home to businesses such as Capture Studios and Moonpig.
